As part of the London Design Festival 2010 Flipped Bird’s “Flippin’ Be Happy!” message was selected (along with a few thousand others) to be performed by Audi’s LED wielding production robots.
The robot video systemm, created by Outrace.org using the Audi robots, was set up in the middle of Trafalgar Square London as the main attraction for the London Design Festival (Sept. 16 – 23, 2010). The ‘bots wave their LED appendages to create calligraphy messages that are captured by light sensitive cameras and broadcast to a big screen in Trafalgar Square, London. Outrace.org e-mailed Flipped Bird the video of the robots “performing” our message in Trafalgar Square. Check out our video below.
